An informal round table workshop for staff of CTSI and the ATO.
Pre-reading for the workshop was the paper by Dr Benno Torgler (University of Basel, Switzerland) on Tax Morale in Latin America (available in pdf format). Dr Torgler was visiting CTSI for its third annual research conference held on 24 and 25 July and was a participant in the workshop.
Valerie Braithwaite presented a brief introduction on the history of tax morale, Benno Torgler spoke about his country data and there was input from staff of CTSI on the Community Hopes, Fears and Actions Survey. Time was included for questions and discussion.
